Many men living with prostate cancer find that peer to peer support can help them on their journey. Through these conversations and relationships, they can find community, information and support. There are a variety of organizations that offer information on support groups. Below is a list of some of the websites that can help you find a support group in your area. ZERO Us TOO Support Groups

ZERO — The End of Prostate Cancer is a national nonprofit with the mission to end prostate cancer and help all who are impacted. Us TOO Support Groups are offered to patients, partners, and caregivers and provide a safe space to meet and discuss topics related to prostate cancer diagnosis, care, and more. Support groups may meet in person or virtually and are offered by state, by interest, and by identity.

Malecare

Malecare is a men’s cancer survivor support and advocacy national nonprofit organization, run by oncologists, psychologists, and social workers. Malecare’s online support groups exist for different interests, disease states and identities.

Prostate Cancer Foundation

The Prostate Cancer Foundation (PCF) funds the world’s most promising research to improve the prevention, detection, and treatment of prostate cancer and ultimately cure it for good. PCF has several private, moderated support groups on Facebook for different interests, disease states and identities.

The Prostate Health Education Network, Inc., (PHEN)

PHEN’s mission is to eliminate the African American prostate cancer disparity, and to increase the overall support and resources for a war on prostate cancer that will lead to a cure for the disease for the benefit of all men. There is a directory of focus groups, by city, on the home page.

Through their LGBTQ+ Program, CancerCare provides free, professional support services for the LGBTQ+ community affected by cancer, as well as practical information and additional resources.
